HAVING IT ALL

Isn't this such a great idea? Being able to enjoy everything you really want out of life. It is an idea whose time has come.

Only problem is convincing others of this. Not ordinary people, but the ones who already have it all and want more.

Yeah, you got to worry about them. Because they will not be content with their having it all, they want your little in the process also.

Fact of life I'm afraid. You just find way too many who either have it and don't desire anything, but to get more. Then you have the other side of the coin.

That is the ones who have little or nothing. They are in the position of wanting more also. Only they have more of an excuse because they do have needs.

But it still comes down to the fact that when you look at it everyone has the same wish. To have more.

And I admit that I'm just as prone to such desires as the next person. Which I see no reason not to confess.

But again the prevail problem is that we can't all have it all. Wish we could, but would it be all if we had it all?

Probably not. Instead we would then have a new level of all and that would really get confusing I bet.

As for me, well I'm happy to peddle my little trinkets of political lust and corruption to see where they lead. Once and a while they even turn out to be a nice plus.

I manage to find somebody who gets a chance to help me with my having it all and maybe I help them also. Doesn't happen all the time, just some times.

In any event, I'm happy when a dream comes close to realty. And when I get close to my idea of having it all then I'm happy.

Not that it happens enough to suit my tastes. Just once and a while and never to the point that I feel satisfied for very long.

But that doesn't keep from trying. And I will always do that. As I imagine so many will. Only too bad none of us can wave a magic wand and turn our dreams into having it all our way.

I guess for now I'll just be happy to milk whatever gold I can when I can. That will be a reason to smile.
