Diamonds

Past the points of gems that light both day and night
the mind shines in its own brilliance,
learns to find the diamonds of insight
to reach into the sky of our concepts.

How it brings its own illumination
and the many tales that the moon, stars and sun inspire,
yet without those facets in creativity
what luster is lost in our lives,
for if all we see is the radiance
of what already rules after sunrise and sunset
we lose our ability to look for more.

Because dreamers reach outside what is known
give it life that we can all have visions
then try and make them reality with our own imaginations.
